At East Riding…

…the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) training and multi-agency work is clearly impacting on the lives of children, young people and families in the rural areas. Staff spoke of their motivation to build on their successes, and learn from challenges.

One of their top three training tips is:

Give respect: multi-agency training can help teams to work
respectfully with one another.

Wendy Bennett, Partnership Coordinator, highlights a simple but often overlooked point:

Generally when people work within the public sector they have more than enough to do, so taking a day out to appreciate what someone else's role is in relation to the same child and its family is a real benefit
